Limited Release Tries to Get Attention for "Infamous"

Everyone who sees the show wants more episodes. While the producers are busy trying to make that happen, places like Limited Release keep the dream alive. As the word circulates, viewership continues to grow. With an independently produced episode on the horizon, the crew is still shopping for a new home for the series. Out of turnaround, it is possible you could see a new season of the show very soon.

Pharaba will be adding guest blogging to her existing repetoire, discussing the ins and outs of producing quality web content as well as how to get it seen. We all know about tubefilter and the futon critic, but the goal of webseries network is to help expand the reach of all creators so the shows can gain more traction in the marketplace.

BROADCAST ASSASSIN INTERVIEWS AJ AND CRAIG

TUBEFILTER REVIEWS INFAMOUS:

60 Frames’ new seriesInfamous, seems to be stuck in the late ‘90s when Tarantino imposters were still running amok. Starring AJ Wedding (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Craig Bonacorsi(Medium), Infamous is about Tom and Anthony — two out of work actors in LA. Like most unemployed thespians, they have a day job to make ends meet. Only instead of serving soy lattes, they pump people full of lead. They are hitmen. Wedding and Bonacorsi, along with Pharaba Witt, created the show, based on their own experiences and conversations as struggling actors (I was not able to find any evidence of them being assassins). The first two chapters, directed by John Asher (aka Mr. Jenny McCarthy), are currently available on the show’s website; subsequent installments will be released every Thursday.

Infamous starts out strong with Episode 1: “Hookers and Guns.” Although the dialogue is too post-modern for its own good – the characters discuss whether fat Jon Favreau is more talented than skinny Jon Favreau (I prefer Swingers and Made-era Favreau, myself) – the premiere episode allows the show to develop its concept and characters. SMODern Warfare Call of Mewes Game Off


Team TheGameRev.com will be playing the best of the best tomorrow at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club at Universal City Walk. Jeff Ketcham, Craig Bonacorsi, Ben Perry, and Leo Jaramillo will represent as they take on Jason Mewes and other contenders in the double elimination competition. The games will be podcast live by GamerGeekDad and Jason Mewes. Listen for the team and we will keep you updated via Twitter and Facebook during the game.
